We know that you may feel that it is the most important day of your life, and that everything needs to be perfect, but when you start noticing these things happen you should know your planning mania has gone too far. Know when to stop!

1. You don’t get round to doing the things you really need to do

If your wedding to-do list just isn’t getting any shorter and time is running out, never mind all the everyday home and work errands that are falling behind – ask for help! If you’re feeling unmotivated, pick something fun from the list and tackle one thing at a time.

2. You stop enjoying it

When planning becomes a chore and is no longer fun, you should take a step back. Remind yourself of how excited you were when you first started and what an amazing day it promised to be. Stop focusing on the problems, they are not as important as you may think.

3. Your lunch hour no longer includes lunch

Eating properly is important, as well as a good fitness plan. If every lunch hour is all about wedding errands, it will also negatively impact your mood and stress levels – there’s no upside here.

4. Your fiance cant wait for it to be over

When your wedding mania has become too much for even your fiance to handle, you should know. He should be looking forward to the day as well! Try getting him more involved, both to share the burden and create mutual interest.

5. Ignoring your Fiance

If it’s been cooling off between the sheets for a while, plan a date night. Take a break from everything to remind yourself why and for who you are doing all this for in the first place!


No one wants to be a bridezilla, but its easier to become one that you might think. Relax, have fun and remember what it’s all about.
